Today I worked again on my picture to painting project. I should be done in a few more class period. I was not however not able to take a picture as there were no cameras available. In detail, the picture is of a man with many things around him. Such as eyes, ocean waves, etc. I recently painted some of my version of the picture and so far my man looks more like a gorilla... Hopefully some more color shading will change that.
This project we were required to add a bunch of things into one image. For this, I made a master sword composed of a Samus head and Mario pipe. The colored shapes were used to give the image more life and make it easier for the viewer to notice the white colored sword as it would hard to notice against a white background.
This is a picture I drew of my feet, legs and other materials. Not the most skilled of drawings, but practice does not hurt.
This is an image of my daily work space. It consists of my computer, drawing item and my drawn portfolio in the background. The images were purposely made to look edgy and unrealistic like. It is supposed to look unorganized in an artistic way.
This is my portfolio. It is very nerdy. It has a Mushroom from Super Mario, the triforce from The Legend of Zelda, The tardis from Dr. Who, a Wii Remote and a NES controller. It also has vines with leaves for extra flare and to connect all the objects together. There is a white background to give the color of the objects more pop in visual appeal.
This painting is based on the famous game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. He is the creator of Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, F-Zero, Star fox, etc. In this project, I was required to make a painting of a real life figure based on a picture. I chose Mr. Miyamoto because he inspires me with the video games he creates and he has a child like spirit. The only twist with this project is that I had to use opposite colors. For this I did yellow and purple. Purple mainly because it is a high rank color and yellow because it is simply the opposite of purple.
In this project, we were required to make a 4 point perspective. We had to have a c
certain number of objects with shades. |
